Services

Through our company, Rollins & Associates, we offer a full range of evaluation, research, and related services.

Evaluation

We specialize in arts in healthcare evaluation and incorporate the same sensitive approach in evaluation that is used in arts in healthcare work. We have found that when evaluations are intrusive, they run the risk of destroying the process to be observed.

Using a participatory approach, we work with you to determine what outcomes your program is trying to achieve, the indicators of success (i.e., what success looks like when these outcomes are achieved), and the most effective methods you can use to present your results. Our structured and analytic ethnographic approach seems most appropriate and is increasingly used and accepted in medical research.

In our current economic climate, healthcare decision-makers are demanding that spending decisions be based on evidence. If we want the arts to be considered an integral component of healthcare, we must be willing to be held to the same standards.

Research

Are you interested in building theory and the knowledge base of the arts in healthcare field? We can help with all stages of the research process, from assisting you in formulating your research questions, conducting literature reviews, determining appropriate methods and instruments, developing a research proposal and Institutional Review Board applications, implementing the project, and analyzing and reporting the results.

Editing

Need assistance with your journal manuscript, dissertation, thesis, or book? Let our 25+ years in the editing field help you bring your ideas to print.

“Getting Published” Seminars

“You must write that up!”  How often in your workplace have you heard these words? We offer a variety of seminars designed to provide you and your colleagues with the information needed to successfully publish manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. Learn how to identify a topic, select an appropriate journal for your manuscript, write the manuscript, and navigate the publication process.
